Styling a White Sectional For Summer
Last year I shared this Modern Meets Country space and the Gena Sectional from The Brick was by far the biggest hit and it's not hard to see why. With clean modern lines but a classic feel, this is a sectional that would work just as well in a modern and minimalist space as it does in this warm eclectic home with just a touch of rustic flair. As summer is just around the corner today I'm sharing how to style this gorgeous white sectional for summer!
As always, you want to bring in a bit of greenery through textiles and of course actual greenery! With an ottoman as the coffee table, a large tray is a great way to add decor items and of course function to this sectional too. Bringing in faux (or real) flowers or greenery is a great way to add that spring/summer touch!
When working with a large light pieces such as this sectional, you still want to bring in some depth so little pops of black and richer colors are important. Black accessories (vases) are great for the ottoman but as multifunctional side tables/ottomans, the Chilton Ottomans are perfect next to the Gena! I love the texture of the stud detail and the contrast of the leather next to the fabric sectional.
Lastly, when you're working with a piece like the Gena that's large scale and light in texture, it's important to bring in texture through your accents and accessories. Don't be afraid to bring in graphic cushions and throws to keep things cozy but still fresh for summer!
