Get The Look: Minimalist Dining Room

I came across this image the other day on Instagram (you should def check out lifestyledco for design inspo!) and immediately stopped my scrolling to take in this space. It's so simple and yet, has a warmth and coziness that can be hard to achieve when working with a minimalist design style. This space does a lot of things very very right. The contrasted trim up high, the tone on tone millwork adding texture to the walls, the high contrast of the light and dark elements and the single pop of color in the corner. I kept coming back to this room to look it over again and again and I thought well, if I love this space so much I bet you will too! So, today I thought I'd do a Get The Look to show you the pieces you could use to achieve this cozy minimalist vibe for yourself! Let's get started.....

Let's start with the table - to get this look for yourself look for a light wood round table (oak, ash) with clean lines. If your style is a bit more traditional or less minimalist you could also opt for a pedestal style like one of these below...

Next up, the chairs! Opt for a classic Windsor chair in black for high contrast against the rest of the light space and finishes. I love windsor style chairs because they work just as well in traditional spaces as they do eclectic and modern - AKA they're SO versatile!

Last up, we have the smaller finishing accessories and elements that tie together the space. The artwork used are actually super affordable printables that are gorgeous. I love printable art because it's affordable and fast! You get the download instantly and then can choose to print it at home (if small sizing) or send it off to your preferred printer to get the next day! Wahooo

By now you all should know I love a good pop of greenery and a fiddle leaf fig tree is a classic!

And lastly - this light! It's simple, clean, modern and impactful - all good things if you ask me!

What do you think of this dining room? I for one can't get enough of it!!
