Health and Convenience On The Go With Moo's Juice
Over the past few weeks I've been living a life of luxury. Let me tell you why - I haven't had to cook! That's right - my lunches and dinners have been pre-made with fresh ingredients and I've been eating better than I have for a long time without having to bust out a single pot or pan. It's basically been the dream. #lifegoals
I discovered Moo's Juice and their meal planning system and for the past two weeks I've been loving their healthy meals. I won't lie - while I enjoy cooking when I have the time to relax and prepare a meal on the weekends most of the time I find cooking to be a total chore that I don't make enough time for. I've always said my dream would be to hire a chef to cook for me and yet - that's not the most budget friendly option. So when I found Moo's affordable healthy meals I just had to give them a try!
Here's how it works...
You first start by selecting your meal planning option, I chose package 3- receiving my lunch and dinner for 7 days. Because the south side location was so convenient I chose to pick up my meals but there is a delivery option as well. On the first day you pick up 4 meals, the third day you pick up four meals, and on the fifth day you pick up your remaining 6 meals for the week.
The meals come packaged in plastic containers with any sauces or added toppings kept to the side so nothing gets soggy which is great. The lids are secure enough that you can take them on the go without worrying about spilling or anything. They stack great and I've been washing and re-using mine!
Most of the meals are microwavable and come with instructions on the lid. The salads obviously don't require heating but any of the sandwiches, wraps, quesadillas, bowls and pastas are all microwavable and take only a few minutes before your meal is ready!
A few of my favourites were the quesadilla, salmon alfredo and the thai chicken peanut rice bowl. I also liked to create my own bowl options. Brown rice with tofu, terriyaki sauce and broccoli and carrots and the chili on quinoa with franks hot sauce and mixed vegetables were two of my favourite custom options.
I'm on my third week of the meal plan and I'm feeling great. I love how fresh and delicious the meals are and obviously that I didn't have to cook them! haha
Because I've been loving them so much I want you to have a chance to try these meals too. For those in Edmonton, head over to my IG page for details on how to enter a week's worth of meals for yourself - good luck!
