Pretty Wallpapered Powder Rooms
Well hello there, I’m popping in today to share a bit of whimsy and some pretty spaces inspired by another Kresswell Interiors project I’m working on!
Almost nothing makes me happier than when we have a design client who says they’re open to using wallpaper, and powder rooms are one of the perfect places to bring in a bold bit of pattern or color without worrying about the rest of your home’s decor.
So first, let me show you some of the options we were looking at for these clients that were strong contenders, but not our final pick…
Hygge and West’s Bloom in Bluebell
How fun is this wallpaper?! We love the whimsical motif and this paper was just calling to be paired with navy board and batten and brass accents. As much as we loved this fun, bold option, it was a close runner up but ultimately, not our final pick.
Tempaper Block Print Floral
The green color of this papwer worked really well with what else we have going on in the main floor and looked amazing paired with both blush (so fun!) and navy millwork, and as much as we all loved this paper, it ultimately lost out to our final choice…..
And now, our final choice…..!
Hygge and West Piedmont Mist
How great is this wallpaper?! We loved the nature motif with this wallpaper and so did our clients who live right by the river valley. The colors of this paper work really well with the rest of the selections for the main floor while still adding a bold pop of fun and color! Have a peek at a few of the other rooms we found that use this paper and I’m sure you can see why this was the winner!
So now, with wallpapered powder rooms on my mind, I wanted to share a few other inspiring spaces with bold, fun, pretty and colorful wallpaper to possibly inspire your own powder room makeover!
This Classic Powder Room with Bold Geographic Wallpaper
If I could have multiple homes to decorate (a girl can dream, right?!) one of then would actually be fairly traditional and classic with a modern twist. I’ve never lived in a traditional home and rarely decorate in a traditional style, and while I don’t think I could ever live with it in my own home full time, I do adore classic spaces with a touch of modernity. This powder room nails that aesthetic perfectly IMO!

Sarah Sherman Samuel can do no wrong and this powder room actually inspired another one of our Kresswell Interiors projects (that was never photographed) a few years back! You can find the exact wallpaper here.
This Green Dream
This space has actually been a favourite of mine for years and while it’s technically not a powder room, I think you could take inspiration from this incredible space and implement this feel into a powder room. See the full room here.

Obsessed doesn’t even begin to express how I feel about this space! Excuse me while I swoon over this fun, glam and inspiring tiny space that’s just packed with design personality!

This Modern Delight!
Last, but most certainly not least in today’s round-up of pretty powder rooms is this stunner of a space that I’d happily transport into my own home immediately! I love the mix of metals, tones and the touch of wood to add warmth. This space is pretty much perfection if you ask me!
