#204ParkHouseBuild: Cozy Office Corner

If you've been following along with the #204ParkHouseBuild you'll know that I gave you guys a peek at the general layout of our house by showing off the showhome we fell in love with but I haven't shared a peek inside the house yet on the blog. Today I wanted to share what will likely be my favourite corner in our house and lucky for me, it's right in my office!

As I've mentioned before, James and I have some different views on decor styles so when it came to this house, one of his biggest requests was no pink in the house except for my office. That seemed fair enough to me so I decided to make my office a bright, fun and feminine space. After all, if I'm going to be working in here, I better love the room and so far I'm already feeling more inspired!

Aside from my desk and typical office requirements, I really wanted my office to have a corner space where I could sit and read, get inspired, journal or just relax with Herman. I saw this mid century modern shaped chair from the Brick and immediately fell in love!

Now I don't know if you guys know this, but in addition to the great pieces they carry in store, the Brick has some ah-mazing special order items as well! I became a little bit obsessed with this gold table when I saw it and as it's a smaller scale piece, I knew it would be perfect to act as a little coffee table in my office nook. Paired with this brass and marble side table from the Brick (um hello, dream combo much?!), I pretty much have my dream feminine and cozy corner.

This chair is so comfy, Herman and I have already been spending lots of time curled up here reading and I know I'll be spending lots of time in this spot. What do you think of this space so far?
