Our Cozy Modern Living Room
Well hello there friends, happy October 1! I don’t know where the time has gone - I feel like it was summer and then I blinked and here we are, it’s fall. This post has been in the queue for awhile but with Kresswell Interiors taking up most of my time it’s taken be a bit longer than I’d hoped to get this but, better late than never - right?
In some ways I think waiting until fall to share this post is actually appropriate as I share a peek at our living room and some of the recent changes that add warmth and up the cozy factor in this space, which is basically what fall is all about!
Since pretty much Day 1 in this room I’ve had lots of cool tones - blues, greens and light colors keeping this space feeling bright and fresh but over time, I began to crave a bit more warmth. I was thrilled to receive a new rug from Loloi (that was gifted, thank you Loloi!) and I love the difference it’s made in our room. Pair that with some new cushions from my favourite, Uusi Studio (from Edmonton!) and some new vintage accessories and I’m loving my refreshed space!
