Canada 150: Keep The Celebration Going

This is a sponsored post written by me on behalf of The Mobile Shop. All opinions are 100% mine.

Canada Day may have come and gone but this summer, keep the celebrations going with your phone by your side to capture the fun and help you along the way. The Mobile Shop has locations all over the country and offers unbiased advice when it comes to the right phone and carrier for your needs! With The Mobile Shop I know that I’ve got the best phone and plan for exactly what I need to stay on top of my plans and capture my fun all summer long.

To keep the excitement going for Canada’s 150th year, I’ve got a few ways to continue the celebrations by exploring Canada and sharing in new experiences with family and friends.

Explore A National Park

This year all access to Canada’s stunning national parks is free! That’s right, FREE! There’s never been a better time to explore our own backyard. This country has so many incredible national parks so grab your phone, put a park location in your maps and get driving! I promise you won’t be disappointed. There’s so much natural beauty to take in. We visited Banff and Lake Louise not too long ago and I couldn’t stop taking photos of the beautiful scenery everywhere we went!

Try Something New

This summer grab a friend and try something new! Neither James or I had ever been canoeing so when we got to Banff a quick internet search on our phones made it clear that a visit to Lake Louise to go canoeing was a must! There’s something so Canadian about canoeing right next to the mountains, it’s definitely been a highlight of the year so far. In the summertime there are so many different festivals, amusement parks, outdoor theatre shows and events, not to mention seasonal activities like hiking, kayaking or discovering a new park. Get outside and get exploring! There’s so much to do in this beautiful country of ours so get out there and don’t forget to snap a pic or two while you’re at it!

Host A Red & White Party

Chances are you still have all of those red and white decorations and party supplies from your Canada Day celebrations so why not put them to use again?! Invite your friends and family over for a Canadian themed bash. Bonus points if you serve red/white snacks or drinks. A quick search online will give you tons of ideas but a tasty red punch or a caesar (talk about Canadian!) would be a great start!

How will you be celebrating Canada’s 150th all summer long? Whether you need to do an online search for a recipe, or use your maps for directions to take you on an adventure or for snapping photos to capture the memories, The Mobile Shop can help you find the best phone and plan for your needs!
