A few weekends back Sarah and I had a fun filled project making, picture taking, lunch eating day while Kali was away at a wedding. We set the table for our girls brunch, DIY-d her tissue lanterns, made a batch of lavender lemonade and after all that work we were hungry! Since Sarah had never been to Cafe Bicyclette we made the trip, had a fab lunch and saw the cutest school across the street. Unlike Sarah, I hadn't been planning on taking photos for an outfit post that day but she insisted and I'm so glad she did - this location was great! Funny how you can live in a city your whole life and still discover new places all the time.

I couldn't help but title this post after my new birthday bag from my boo- I love the pop of red, it's so summery and fresh compared to my other neutral purses and picked up the accents in my shirt and the Julep polish I mentioned here perfectly!
