Kali's Picks

1. ELF Lotion Wipes

The first time I ordered these, I wasn't really sure what to expect. It's safe to say now, they are one of my fave items from ELF. The small pack contains 20 lotion soaked wipes which work amazing for moisturizer on the go (on the plane) or as a makeup remover in a pinch. There are 6 different scents available, i'm well on my way to trying them all!

2. JustFab Denim

I'll be the first to admit that I'm somewhat of a denim snob. After having a pricey pair of jeans recently wear out in under 6 months, (seriously, that was really annoying) I decided to try out these $40 wonders. I've been wearing them for a few weeks now, and am honestly so happy with the quality. I guess there's a reason 97% of ladies who have bought recommend them!

1. Healthy, Sweet, Frozen Treat

Always craving something a little sweet in the evening, I decided to try making a snack that wouldn't pack too high a punch calorie wise. Using my dollar store (I know- so fancy) popsicle tray I blend 1/2 cup frozen blueberries, 1 tbsp honey, 1 banana and 1 cup of plain 0% greek yoghurt together and let freeze overnight. The honey and fruit make it sweet while the greek yoghurt packs a protein punch that keeps you full- it's a win win in my books! (Makes 6) Any healthier treat alternatives you guys love? We'd love to try them!

2. Aldo Molezzano Necklace

While the name might sound like an italian specialty cheese or a character from the Sopranos, this 'molezzano' necklace and I crossed paths a few weeks ago when I was in yyc.  I had been looking for a shorter gold necklace with a bit of oomph for a while but nothing had been quite right...until this one. I love the weight, texture and pow of this necklace and how it goes with just about everything in my closet.  That's how you know you've found a good piece if you ask me- and at less than $40, it won't break the bank either!

1. American Dream Builders

I admit- I'm not one to watch home design shows. That said, NBC's ADB has recently hooked me with it's amazing designers and - best of all - fierce designer drama (just try to like Elaine, I dare you. It's impossible). Seeing what these talented artists can pull off in just a week and how their different skills come together makes for some crazy houses. My favourite designer so far? #teamlukas

2. Gold Sharpie Wallpaper

You guys. Can you believe this 'wallpaper' is just a Sharpie?! Not only do I love the look of this, I also love the funkiness and the cost (umm a few bucks for some pens? Not too shabby). I'm not sure if I could ever bring myself to put a permanent marker to my walls - ok, I know I couldn't - but I'm jealous of the person who can. Can someone please do this and invite me over to stare? Thanks.
