Pillow Talk: Uusi Studio
Today I’m so excited to share a post to shine a little love on not only some of the prettiest pillows out there but also, on an awesome female run business based out of Edmonton! Uusi Studio has become one of our go-to pillow resources for us at Kresswell Interiors and last month I decided it was long past time to get a few for my own home too!
You might recall seeing some of these STUNNING Uusi Studio pillows in our #theaspenabode Kresswell Interiors project from earlier this year. Kristina and I had completed the renovation part of the project and helped our client select their major furniture pieces but the finishing touches weren’t totally in place in time for our shoot so Karlene (the lovely and talented owner of Uusi Studio) was kind enough to lend us a few pillows to use for the shoot. At this point Kristina and I had been spec’ing her beautiful pillows for awhile but had not yet seen them in person and we fell so in love with the beautiful textures and details on the Uusi Studio pillows. We had actually spec’d these pillows for this client’s job and after we left, she messaged us to say that she ended up purchasing the pillows after the shoot because she loved them so much! So after seeing the quality of Karlene’s pillows in person for myself finally I knew I needed to revamp the pillow situation I had going on in my own house. I’d been long wanting to get some new pillows but had been waiting on my new area rug so once that arrived, I could get to choosing a few! Now in these photos you’ll see a green velvet pillow that looks alright in photos but in person, is a bit ratty so that cushion is going to be replaced down the line (I’m thinking this one or this one would be perfect - what do you think?!). I’ve linked the cushions I got below (except for the tan/neutral striped one which is out of stock (*insert sad face). What do you think of my refreshed space?
